Decorative Flowers Made From Recycled Maps By Green Cycle Designs

Not strictly furniture but I just thought these were to good not to share. Made from old maps, these flowers are beautifully crafted by Green Cycle Designs. The natural colour changes, and intricate designs of maps really gives these 'flowers' added interest.

...made from a Vintage 1963 World Book Encyclopedia. I hand fold each flower one petal at a time and adhere it to the stem. Each flower measures approximately 3.5 inches wide with a stem that is approximately 8 inches long.

These beautiful flowers are made from a variety of recycled paper, newspaper, magazines, books and other found fun paper! The stems are made from rolled newspaper. The newspaper is painted green with a non-toxic paint and sealed (non-toxic as well) so it has a nice shine doesn't get all over your hands.
