By creating a profile on Karolo you are introducing yourself to our community, allowing other users to find out a little more about you or your business.

1. How do I create my profile?

Creating a profile is quick and easy. Login, or register an account and go to My Karolo > My Profile.

2. What information should I include?

My Profile guides you in the information you should include:

• An image to represent yourself
• A short introduction, used throughout the site to introduce you to other users
• A detailed description, displayed to users via your profile page
• Your website (if you have one)

Important Note: For your safety, please do not include contact details in your intro text. Users can contact you through the internal messaging system or you can choose to display your full name, location, email address and telephone number (please refer to point 3 below)

The information you display on your profile is entirely up to you. This is a family friendly site so no swearing or inappropriate images (read our terms and conditions for more information). Other than that you are free to communicate yourself or your business as you see fit.

3. How do I show my contact information?

To display your contact information follow these steps:

1. Go to My Karolo > My Settings and complete any missing fields.
2. Go to My Karolo > My Settings > Privacy and select the information you wish to display at the base of the page under 'Personal Settings'
3. You can also select to only display this information to registered Karolo members or keep open it up to the general public.

4. Who can see my profile?

Your profile is public, thus anyone, anywhere around the world can see it. Be careful with the information you choose to share. You do have the ability to tailor what people see in My Karolo > My Settings > Privacy

5. Can I show different information to different users?

You have the ability to keep information private, display only to Karolo members or to show to the general public via My Karolo > My Settings > Privacy.

6. How can I edit what activity shows on my profile?

You do have the ability to tailor what people see in My Karolo > My Settings > Privacy
