Buying
1. How do I place a bid?
2. Does it cost anything to bid on an item? No, there is no cost to place a bid
3. How much should I bid?You should bid the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item. As other users place bids, Karolo will bid on your behalf until your maximum bid is exceeded. The current price will incrementally increase dependent on other bids, thus if you remain the highest bidder you will only pay 1 increment over the second highest bid.
4. What is an increment? An increment is the minimum amount you can bid over the current price and is calculated on a percentage scale. The minimum amount you can bid will be displayed under the blue input box.
5. I've been outbid, what are my options? If you have been outbid you can either choose to increase your maximum bid or concede defeat and search for an alternative item.
6. Can I cancel my bid?Once confirmed you cannot cancel a bid.
7. What is Instant Purchase?Instant purchase enables you to buy the item instantly, rather than waiting for the listing to finish. Once you press ‘Purchase’ and confirm the item is yours and you will be notified of the sellers contact details to make arrangements for payment and pickup.
8. I won the item, what do I do now?Upon winning the auction you will be notified of the final price and sellers contact details in order for you to arrange payment and pickup/delivery.
9. How do I contact the seller? To contact the seller, either click the link in your sale confirmation email or navigate, via My Bids > Items Won, to the item you purchased. Press the 'Contact Seller' button and use either the contact information provided or the contact form. |
