2. What listing type should I select?

There are a number of factors that should inform your choice when selecting a listing type. There should be a balance between the cost of the listing, the value of the item you are selling and the features you want when selling the item. The better the listing type, the better the features and the higher chance you have of selling your item for a higher value.

3. What's the difference between listing types?

Full details of each listing type can be found on Step 1 of the upload process.

Step 2 - Enter your item details

1. What should I write in my title and description?

It is very important to be honest and accurate in your title and description. Do not try to deceive buyers! Your title should include a concise description of the item, the material it's made of and any brand/maker names. Try to include the following information in your listing:

  • Brand or maker names
  • Dimensions
  • Materials
  • The items condition - go into detail
  • Relevant information about the items history or age
  • Any information you believe would be benficial for a buyer to know

2. My item fits into multiple categories, which should I pick?

At present you can only enter your listing into one category, thus you should choose whichever category you believe to be most relevant to your item.

3. Can I sell furniture from a different location to the address registered to my account?

As long as you own the item or have the express permission to act on behalf of the owner, you may sell items from a different location than that registered to your account.

Step 3 - Upload Images

1. Whats the maximum image size I can upload?

To prevent long delays in uploading, images must be below 2mb.

Your images will be resized to fit and if portrait in orientation, cropped to fit our listing thumbnails. You will be able to choose the location of the thumbnail crop.
