How to track and promote your listing

1. How will I be notified if someone bids or buys my item?

An email will be sent to inform you of any bids on your item. If your item sells, a sale confirmation email will be sent containing a link to view contact details for the buyer.

2. Can I see statistics for my listing?

You can view statistics for your listing both within My Karolo and on the actual listing page itself. To view an overview of all your listings go to 'My Karolo > My Listings'.

3. What can I do to increase the chance of my item selling?

There are a number factors that can help:

1. Good photography - A good thumbnail will increase the chances of someone selecting your item within our search results, backed up by good quality, relevant photographs will help sell your item to buyers.
2. Use social networks to your advantage - Share your listing on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks to promote your item. Traffic is key, the more people that see your item, the better chance you have of selling for a higher price. Its a numbers game!
3. Be active in our community - Get your profile seen in the community by writing and commenting on blogs. Your profile is a great way to introduce yourself to buyers and showcase your listings.
4. Optimise your listing to be found in search engines - Think about what keywrods buyers would be using to find your listings. Repeat these keywords in the title and description but remember to keep listings readable for buyers. The more information you include the better chance you have of being found.
